Nymindegab Kro - Varde

The view towards a Nymindegab Kro in the diset Christmas Eve day weather in 2023. There is no bad weather, only wrong dress was true for this raw but lovely trip down to the beach and winding the weather of Vesterhav fresher and ready for the heavy Christmas food. For history interested, there are 2 semi buried base concrete bunkers left from the occupation time. There is also at this descent placed pallet container, so the obvious opportunity for tr let the whole family take a little trash with the walk along the water and thus contribute to our everyone’s best.

Lovely beach with the right North Sea vibe.

We were on a small stay from Saturday to Sunday in January. It was so amazing. A cozy and lovely hotel where there was warm and lovely atmosphere. We had a nice and newly renovated room with a lovely view. In the evening we ate in the cozy and beautiful restaurant and it was very delicious The food was so wonderful and it is long since I have been on a restaurant visit where all dishes were so good. I was so impressed and excited about the great taste experience. Next morning we got up to a wonderful breakfast buffet. I give my warmest recommendations for Nymindegab kro. And we will certainly come again.

The Kroen is very beautiful and a walk in the area can really be recommended. We had booked a night and a five dishes menu. The room was nice not something special, but there was nothing missing. The dinner was a little hit and miss. Some dishes were excellent and with good taste. Some of the dishes were average and quite fine, while others were boring and malplaced. Especially salmonetartar with cucumberegazpacho was tasteless and pull the overall impression down. The wine was really good and suitable for the dishes. That the water you got (buyed) next to, from Bornholm seemed to us a little strange when it otherwise otherwise highlighted that the water from the males is good. What disturbed our stay most and which was close to countries the rating of 2 was, the wedding that was also held the same evening/night. It was loud with music, and it was only possible to sleep after 02. We were aware of the wedding and the music as we checked in, but we could not change anything. We were “offered” an upgrade to a room that was longer away from the party, but we didn’t think that the sound could be so bad when they now hold open to “common guests” also the night. In addition it seemed to us a little strange that we should pay extra to be allowed to sleep without high music.

En helt igennem fantastisk udsigt krydret med velsmagende aftensmads mad. Maden er helt i top Lige fra første til sidste ret. Personalet er meget omhyggelige, faglige dygtige og gode til at præsentere både vinen og maden. Atmosfæren og stemningen i restauranten og området er et besøg værd! En stor anbefaling herfra!
