I think it is not through design, but through the virtuous that it is so difficult to locate. on a staircase of maharana mahal ghat, through a dark and dirty corridor, you reach the ajay guest house palace at the stage. then again some more steps from before the reception they reach this eilze . Sunrise is more of a in house pantry/canteen for Ajay Guest House , on whose rooftop it is located. I guess it is not by design but by the virtue of it being so hard to locate. Up a flight of stairs from Maharana Mahal Ghat , through a dark and dirty corridor , one reaches Ajay Guest House / Palace on the step. Then again some more steps up from in front of the reception you reach this elusive eatery . I happened to eat here because I was staying on premises at Ajay Guest House. Housed in a wire cage to protect visitors from the monkey menace , they also have an open area facing the mighty Ganges . The food served her , including North Indian and the so called continental and the obligatory chow mein :) , is defiantly no great shakes , tasting like any other road side eatery. I just once ordered a veg sandwich , which was a soggy toasty sandwich stuffed with Julians of cabbages and carrots , served very un appetisingly. Henceforth on my numerous visits here I limited myself to ordering just tea, which in all fairness was served promptly by good natured and well behaved servers. Another ting I noticed that though this place is not a bar or to my knowledge do not have any liquor serving permission , the visi cooler kept on the premises was always well stocked with cans of beer , so figure it out yourself. Now to the important point , why did I give it such a high rating and why am I wasting your and my own time on reviewing such an insignificant place ? The answer is one extra ordinary and unique feature this place has. The open terrace , it affords such a magnificent view of Ganges and such a phenomenal experience of sun rise against the back drop of the mighty river that is beyond discretion Watching the boatmen start there day from here is surreal and this is a statement I make after having patronised many a better rated places on the river banks. So the recommendation is go there for the view and also a word of caution , at times they just forget to own it in time for sunrise , so if you plan the trip first call to confirm that they are serving. Sunrise este mai degrabă o cămară / cantină pentru casa Ajay Guest House, pe acoperișul căreia se află. Presupun că nu este prin proiectare, ci prin virtutea faptului că este atât de greu de localizat. Sus pe o scară de la Maharana Mahal Ghat, printr-un coridor întunecat și murdar, se ajunge la Ajay Guest House / Palace pe scară. Apoi, din nou, mai mulți pași în fața recepției, ajungeți la acest restaurant evaziv. Am întâmplat să mănânc aici pentru că stăteam în incinta de la Ajay Guest House. Găzduite într-o cușcă de sârmă pentru a proteja vizitatorii de amenințarea maimuțelor, au, de asemenea, o zonă deschisă orientată spre puternicul Gange.
