The atmosphere is refreshing. A small, cozy corner that will give you authentic village of Vibes! The food is also amazing, and their baati chokha is a must try. The staff is very good and helpful.

Classic desi North Indian food with desi ghee at reasonable prices. Very authentic and delicious dishes. Village theme of the restaurant with beautiful ambience. The best part is that all vessels are clay cups, so called cuchars and plates (from tree leaves) are recyclable. Love it.

Best place in Varanasi to eat baati and chokha. Good ambience and great food. A must try if you are in the area. Parking space is limited here. And restroom is not available.

Potli Restro Cafe Second Floor above Himalya Showroom, Assi Ghat. Nature themed murals cover the walls of this compact venue featuring traditional staples. So the ambience was good. I had gone at Potli Restro Cafe for the dinner. Happy wit the quick service. Exterior view from first floor was okayish. Had ordered chowein. Price was reasonable. Taste also nice. Not at all crowded.

Best food in India. I have eaten many Indian foods in my life, including in a variety of places in India, but Potli really seems. The thali is extremely huge and each component was delicious from rice to dal to naan and everything in between. Decor is really cute and the place is clean as possible. Truly good food is not easy to come near the ghats, so no need to look further because you do not find better.
