Robin's Nest Cafe - Vanscoy

I recently discovered this hidden gem. The restaurant offers delicious home-cooked meals at incredibly affordable prices. It is the quintessential small town cafe with a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. The breakfast was both quick and delicious. I will definitely make a point to visit again during my next journey.

A few years back, we made a pit stop at this restaurant while traveling west to fill up on gas. Feeling hungry, we noticed a small eatery nearby and decided to give it a shot. Despite there being only one staff member working, she handled everything with great efficiency. The place had a unique charm that we enjoyed, and we were happy we decided to stop by. The food was delicious, and the service was commendable.

Food is good and consistent. Now new highway is making the restaurant harder to access it is still worth the extra drive.

Restuarant needs a major overhaul. Very dingy, dark atmosphere seems to be clean. Staff are very young and somewhat inexperienced. Food is good and tasty. Baked potatoes are cooked but very very dry. Specials are quite reasonable and usually includes dessert. Overall I would give it 3.25 out of 5 stars.

I've been coming to Robin's Nest for years and lately the food has been hit and miss. The service is always good and the prices are acceptable on some menu items. The atmosphere is interesting with the antique and community items on the walls. With some small adjustments in the kitchen, this can be a great place.
