The Hairless Hare Brewery - Vandalia

My boyfriend and I visited this brewery for the first time and they did not disappoint! Matt was nice and took our order. I had plain smoked wings with ranch and hot garlic sauce on the side. My wings were excellent ! Very much smoked lol, they fell right off the bone, 20/10 I would highly recommend. My boyfriend had the pizza of the week (don’t remember the name of it) but he really really enjoyed it. We also had the gouda dip as an appetizer. The dip was good, a little salty but good. I think the dip would’ve been better if it was hot but it was cold, and I believe it was intentionally cold. My boyfriend also had the hard lemonade which he said was really good. I would definitely return to try more items on the menu.

Great beers! You order your food and drinks at the bar rather than having table service which was actually a pretty cool concept! We had a couple pizzas as well as the smoked boneless wings. The pizza was tasty but the wings were possibly the best I've ever had!

I had a good time here, it has a good vibe going on. Be we stopped by for some food and drink. We ordered blue mushroom pizza, and I got mead flight while we waited. I liked the Michael the black and and blueberry lemon the best, the lemon was not that noticable. Cranberry was a little earthy but ok. Pizza was good, olive oil was good change from tomato pasta on occasion. I did not get to try any of the beer so I definitely need to return.

Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, and great staff! The only thing missing is some waiters. Waiting in line is a buzz kill. Make sure to try the pizza because it may be the best you can get in Vandalia.

Really enjoyed our first experience here! Fairly priced alcohol, delicious pasta dish, awesome pizza, and really, really good smoked wings! Staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant seemed very clean, too, which is always a plus! Looking forward to bringing friends and family here!
