Las Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

Usually go over to Nick's after a Bard on the Beach afternoon performance, but wife had a craving for her favorite - Chicken Chimichanga......for me it is the beef Enchilada de Sonora....both are always outstanding.

La terrasse est très agréable.La sangria est bonne.Les plats sont vraiment bons et servis dans une très bonne ambiance .

We went to this 4th Ave institution for our annual visit before a movie. My wife had Prawn Tacos which she said were good. I had the Baja Fish Tacos and they were good. The happy hour drinks were good. Service was good and helpful and attentive.

Our waiter was professional and well informed. He had a deep knowledge of the relative merits of hot, cold and luke warm water. Each temperature had its appropriate moment and you had to know when a glass without ice was best for you. He also know the menu and when I asked for Mole; he spoke my language and voila my favourite Mexican dish arrived.

Best Mexican food in western Canada plus good value and fun. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for dinner with a half litre of wine. Las Margaritas has retained it's great food and fun all these years.
