Donair Dude - Vancouver

Walking along Granville St trying to figure out what to do about dinner. Place seemed clean and well maintained (ie. clean, friendly staff). Couldn't decide bet the lamb or chicken donair. Went with chicken/lamb mix. Large portion, fresh topics and great taste.

Hubby fancied a kebab so we toddled around the corner from our hotel to satisfy his hunger! Portion sizes were huge and he could not eat it all. He said it was just OK but nothing extra special. Lots of various vegetable/ fruit additions to go in it plus mild to hot sauces.

My partner and I on occasion get a Donair from here. & have never been sorryThere are other Donair Places in our Area but the service and quality are a far cry from Donair DudeThe service is fast pleasant.The ingredients are fresh and you meal although quick is well preparedPrices are good location is great Limited seating but with the new park around the corner no a big issues5 stars all the way

They just opened this restaurant on 17th & Lonsdale in North Vancouver. I ordered Chicken Donair Rice Plate ($10.99). It came with rice, 2 dolmades, and tabouli salad, tzatziki sauce and pitta bread. Instead of dolmades, I could replace them with falafel. It was nice. All the food selection and sauce were nice but too bad, I thought chicken was too dry... And compared to some similar restaurants in downtown Vancouver, it is a bit pricy...
