Denny's - Vancouver

Today, Denny's Canada celebrated their 45th anniversary! From 7 am to 2 pm at select locations, the Original Grand Slam was available for only $1.99. I found out about this deal from Denny's Facebook page and decided to visit the location at 1759 West Broadway this morning to take advantage of this great offer.

After yoga, went to Denny's because you get a free grand slam on your birthday! It's smaller than I remember but it's a good thing as I remember it was always too much food! Have not been to Denny's for many years but this location was modern, clean and friendly service! I had the prime rib benny. It was pretty good - hollandaise sauce needs some work. They also do not have butter for pancakes! All in all, a good dining experience.

Excellent breakfast and lunch dishes. Had food from the Seniors menu and portions were quite full. Fast, friendly service.

When we asked the manageress why the food was so wonderful, and better than any other Denny's we visited, she told us that the restaurant has an excellent chef. The restaurant also boasts excellent comfortable seating, and a wonderful atmosphere with charming waitresses. There is also a private room available if needed for a personal function.I recommend this Denny's strongly.

We have been here a couple of times. The food is consistent. I had a sirloin steak which was tasty but the squash and zucchini side were sautéed to long. The fries were good. All in all a good place to go if you want something consistent without surprises.
