Contribuiți la feedbackI have heard that this was the place to go for great Italian cuisine. we had pizza in the art and it was not disappointed. ordered two child pizzas and a regular size with aubergines. crust was perfect and fresh ingredients gave the taste profile, the underscription Italian taste. we enjoyed the octopus salad and ended the dinge with special desserts recommended by the personal. apropos personal, what a pleasant experience we had when we met with smiling faces and great service. will come back for more goodies from here. next adventure will include some of their pasta offers.
This is by far the best Italian restaurant in vancouver. I was in neapel and eating in la sorrentina reflects the culture, experience and tastes I had in neapel. they will not be disappointed. I have tried many different pizzas and pastas here, but the gnocchi is a classic that will always be my favorite. try like the one I had in sorrento.
Order the pfefferoni pizza. additional smoked mozzarella. the fresh and brownish sauce combined with a bite of pfefferoni folded in wood fire grilled chest and they have a 5-star pizza all day. delicious, a bit on the expensive side, but the extra worth for such an unforgettable disc.
I had heard from others that this was the “best pizza in Vancouver”, so obviously we had to try it out and so far, from the pizza places I tried here, I would have to agree! pizza was fantastic, but the Mac cheese from the children's menu was perhaps the best Mac cheese I've ever had. the cannolis were also delicious. I have almost turned off a star because the service took a really long time and it took a while to get our food, but I think that many restaurants are fighting with enough personal. as long as they plan to have a few nice long talks with the people they are with, they will love it here!
I heard about this place from a friend and went there immediately. The pizza was fantastic. Fresh tomatoes, flavorful cheese, and the crust is thin and chewy and crusty, yet somehow melts in your mouth. It was an amazing combination. Most pizza sauces are loaded with onions or garlic or pepper, and this sauce is just fresh tomato flavor. It was perfect. The focaccia was soft and warm and very very tasty. The cheesecake was some of the best I've tasted at a restaurant. The Margarita pizza did not disappoint. We couldn't have asked for a better pizza, really. We had the babba for dessert as well as the cheesecake. The babba was very interesting. Rum soaked brioche with Italian pastry cream. It was beautiful. I loved the presentation of the espresso, however, a better roast and pull would have brought it up to the level of the meal. It was strong, but burnt and bitter. With a better espresso shot, and a creamy Italian gelato, an affogato would finish perfectly with the meal. As heavenly as the cheesecake is, I bet they could do an amazing tiramisu. Very pleased with this hidden gem of a place, and I'm so glad we tried it. We will be back and will tell all our authentic pizza seeking friends.
