La Oie Cajun Cuisine - Vancouver

I hate leaving a bad review but have to on this one. My husband ordered gumbo for me a few days ago when I was sick. I opened up the lid, expecting gumbo but instead found a big bowl of Cajun rice with two tiny slices of sausage. Nothing else. I ended up heating up some broth at home to add to the rice. We paid $13 for a bowl of rice when we should've received gumbo. It was very disappointing. I added an extra star because my husband recently informed me that he ordered the beignets which were good.

Had the gumbo last night and it was so good! The woman working there was very friendly and helpful. I love this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pretty darn tootin good Cajun cuisine...I got the dirty rice with the ribs and the ribs fell right off the bone! The Cajun rice had just enough spice! The food also paired really well with a cold refreshing brother's cascadia brew! Also the prices are pretty decent for what you get! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
