Ice Cream Renaissance - Vancouver

Lots of Vegan ice cream and sorbet options. The day we went there were aroun 3-4 ice creams and 3 sorbets that were dairy free. So thankful for a close place that handles special dietary needs for a sweet treat. Board games, ample seating for an ice cream shop, parking is relatively easy.

Love the atmosphere and service but the Irish Oatmeal cupcakes I got was very dry and tasted old and the frosting was very flaky and you could tell it was old

ICR is the bomb!! There is no other ice cream shop as far as my family is concerned. Fantastic flavors, including dairy free options. I recommend you try the seasonal flavors before they are gone. Strawberry Lime is very refreshing. If you are a coffee drinker order an affogato (espresso over ice cream), so delicious!

Cute shop with a fun theme. Their honey vanilla is fairly consistent, but many of their flavors are very icy. I'll never forget the cold brew flavor I had a couple of years back. It was really awful. Thankfully the staff was really kind and let me get a different cone.

Better than Salt Straw!! Fun little ice cream shop with a great assortment of homemade ice cream. The root beer float was amazing! The kids got a sorbet and a mint cookie ice cream. Both were delicious. This was the perfect stop and treat on a hot day. The one thing I will mention is that when it's crowded, it can be rather loud inside. So if you have sound sensitivity, beware of that and maybe try to hit it on the off hours. We went on a Sunday and ate there. It was super quiet when there was no one else there. Otherwise, there is ample seating and cute window seats for people watching. The atmosphere is a cross between what I would call small city charm and modern. And did I mention the delicious ice cream?!
