Hawaiian Style Grill - Vancouver

Been eating here for years. First time came here with my boyfriend (now husband) several years ago. At first I was skeptic but when I tried the food oh boy! Never disappoints! Portions are great. Meat is always good. And their Mac salad is amazing when I drench it in their soy sauce. Prices are reasonable too. Trust me you’ll love it.

This is a nice place to get away from the burgers, fried chicken and taco fast food. I am not Hawaiian, although I've been there 3 times, their food is amazing. Of course I didn't sample everything there, but what I ate was great! It was very flavorful. I ate the Katsu Moco, which was like breaded chicken on rice with gravy and an egg on top. My eyes were bigger than my stomach because I ordered two Spam Musubis, which were also amazing. I had food for two days. Nice little, clean, unassuming place in a strip mall, gotta try it.

First time here, after putting it off and forgetting to try it for almost 6 years, and I am so sad I slept on it so long! The flavor of the char on the chicken is amazing (I had the Hoku's bbq chicken), and the katsu is perfectly crisp, and has a nice flavor in the breading. I would love to come back, but even the smaller portion is like 3 meals, so I may never need to eat again!

I ordered catering for my daughters grad party from Hawaiian Style Grill. I had never eaten here before but my daughter wanted Hawaiian food for the party and other locals restaurants were booked. I am so happy we ended up with Hawaiian Style Grill. The service for ordering was impeccable. They were so prompt in returning my emails and so unbelievably kind. On the day of pickup the food was just being completed at pickup time so it was as fresh as possible and wow, it was sooooooo good. Our guests raved about how good the food was the entire party. The pricing was amazing, the package came with all the serving supplies and utensils you need. I ordered for serving 40. We had more than 40, many who ate two plates, and we still had leftovers. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough for catering a party. I'm excited to try the dine in experience as well. Thanks Hawaiian Style Grill!

Man-o-man! I love their food! Such a great place for lunch and the staff always treats you like family! This is one of my go to spots in Vancouver and always reminds me of the great BBQ I get, when I visit the Islands.
