However, there are also heavy influences related to both politics and religion. Staff and service are decent, prices are good, but the food isn't great. With all that in mind, I'd recommend checking out other BBQ options in the area before trying Goldie's.
Delicious smoked grilled meat and sides, made in house for years and years! this family knows how it is done right and with generous portions also! They leave the table not hungry, finger licking good!
Some of the best texas bbq I had so far in WA state! outstanding pork ribs, pulled pork, potato salad, coleslaw and collard greens and they gave me a rehearsal of their brisket and it was excellent! very military friendly with many military photos, military objects and American patriotic objects decorating the whole restaurant. to create an explosion from the earlier printed carbon image of an old woman with super detailed folds hanging on the wall that an old high schoolgirlfriend created by me in the high school art class. the original name of the artist was amanda gipson and we have studied kelso high in juni 2004, but she has changed her name now in arakai moon 2011 and performed astrological videos and lesions on youtube under her current name!
This place is great. authentic texas bbq, come for the brisket, stay for the pork ribs. these people are real, wonderful and I hear every journey through vancouver, wa. as a firefighter, I respect them for putting all these heroes on the wall. really moving. thanks charles and family.
Had the 3 meat comb brisket, spicy sausage and pulled pork with the side of fried okra and coleslaw. the meat had a nice smoke taste, which did not overwhelm the meat the koleslawin was only coleslaw nothing special. the fried okra was brilliant, beautiful crisp and tasteful.
