Garage Grille - Vancouver

Angie is undoubtedly the coolest bartender I've ever met. She made us feel completely at home. I really enjoy the atmosphere in this place. We arrived on Friday night around 7 PM and ordered some jalapeño poppers, a veggie plate, and cheese fries, all of which were delicious. The poppers had a nice kick and were stuffed with creamy cheese, and the crispy exterior was a great touch. The space is also quite spacious, making it easy to move around, and they have great sports on TV. They even tuned in the Beavers game for me, which added to the fun. The crowd here is friendly as well. I tried my hand at the pinball machine on the left when you walk in and had a great time – I did quite well, too. Angie was so nice to talk to and very approachable; I really like her. I highly recommend checking this place out – you won't regret it!

Couve has a fantastic pub that’s tucked away from the usual spots. They serve delicious burgers and have Hefeweizen on tap, which is a rarity. The bartenders are professional and exceptionally friendly. On weekends, they offer live music, and the outdoor seating is lovely, mostly uncovered but perfect for dry days. The crowd is older, primarily 35 and up, so you won’t have to deal with any drama. We’re really glad we found the Garage!

Good place for Happy hour after work. They have a nice friendly staff, a pool table and nice seating area outside. The food is great especially the tacos they serve on Tuesday. If you like beer, they have a great selection of IPA's and tasty ciders to pair with you happy hour!

Idk why it has taken me so long to write this review. I have been to the Garage many times for Prime Rib night and it never disappoints. On this particular night last week, my partner and I ended up here on a last minute date night whim. There were no servers and the bar were moderately busy but arriving around 530, there were plenty of seats available this has not always been the case over the years so it was a lot less crowded than normal and we placed our order with the barkeep. The food came out quickly and it was delicious as ever. Prime rib cooked to perfection, a crispy-skinned loaded baked potato I will ask for extra butter next time , and a dinner salad to start their ranch and vinaigrette dressings are both great . We ordered a blueberry pineapple ? cider from Portland Cider Company and it paired really nicely for a randomly ordered drink. About 20 mins into our night, a server showed up and was very attentive, checked on us twice within the hour we were there. I haven't stopped in on a weekend in a long time so I can't attest to what a Friday night looks like but I know the service and the food was great on this particular rainy November day : and where else can you get a 10 oz cut for $27? It's a great deal! Go early enough though, they do sell out on occasion, especially if you are coming in later in the night.

This place is closed. Poorly run place. They fired the best people and listened to a thief. Perfect.
