Black Angus Tavern Grille - Van Wert

Most of the bartenders are great but there's this one that looks like a wife to a biker gang. She's constantly being rude to me despite my efforts to be nice and respectful. I used to go a lot but I refuse to go at night because of this woman.

The table was dirty. We got there before dinner service, so we were able to order pretty quickly and got our drinks. They did not have the meal my husband wanted, so he had to choose something else. His filet came out over cooked/burned after he ordered medium. It got really busy at that time and we couldn't find our waitress, so he ate it anyway. We finished and waited for quite a while to get our bill.

Well I was not impressed with the food.Spent 27.95 for a 14oz Ribeye Steak. It was the thinnest and fattest Steak I have ever had. That Steak wasn't worth $10.And the plating was bad it looked very plain and unappetizing. I could go on with a lot more things I didn't like. That would take to much time.I will never go back.I encourage you not to go.

We came here after a show at the Niswonger Center. The service was very slow and we were sitting for an hour and a half before our appetizer came out. The food was decent, what you'd expect from a small town independent restaurant.

Food is always good but it seems like they're always out of something I want to order. Server was great and beer was frosty
