Pepper Mexican Grill - Van Nuys

On my first visit, I ordered a Burrito to go and was disappointed to see the cook handling chips without gloves before putting them in the bag. It made me question whether this person had received any food safety training. I couldn't bring myself to eat the food after witnessing this lack of hygiene.

Amazing food for a fast meal, especially if you love burritos and tacos. I also loved the shrimp dishes.

This restaurant is chaotic. I stood in front of the server for 10 minutes, but he completely ignored me. There was another customer waiting for his order, but I was invisible to the staff. The customer service was horrible and rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The server was so unpleasant that I didn't even want to stay to try the food, although there didn't seem to be much to check anyway.

I have made a grub hub order and on the additional comments I have no guacamole and no pico de Gallo, since I allergic to onions, the owner said that?s why he put it on the page I think some people do not understand the definition of NO smh very disappointing. What a waist of food, money and time. I hope that will not happen in the near future.

Wow! So good! We do not rat meat and I saw that they had fish tacos on the menu. Some of the best fish tacos I ever had. We had to order seconds. It was a one man show. And the man was the nicest! Highly recommended!
