Abuelita's - Van Nuys

The food was excellent, but the service was unfortunately lacking. I would rate it three stars. They seemed to be preoccupied with other customers, as we waited 20 minutes just to receive the menus. When we finally managed to get someone's attention, they responded by saying they thought we were waiting for our food. This isn’t the first time we've experienced poor service here.

The food was excellent, but the waitstaff could improve their attitude. It seemed like they were preparing for a private party later, and they set up all their equipment in the spot where I was dining, which felt quite rude.

Super friendly staff and delicious food. Just stumbled upon it while walking from the LAX FlyAway terminal in search of the nearest bite. Very happy I chanced upon this one.

Caldo de pescado y camaron is so delicious!!! And tortillas hecha de Mano! Definitely need to come here if you haven't already. And they serve alcohol

My mother celebrated her birthday there with a party of 20 people, and despite having only two servers, the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Guatemalan cuisine.
