The food was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised that the lobster was also tasty! The restaurant had a cozy, neighborhood vibe and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

I had the baked squid for lunch with French hairstylists. The meal was delicious. They mentioned that the burgers are made with locally sourced meat, which I will definitely try next time. Our waitress, Amy, was friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back again.

The duck wontons were fantastic. The fish was okay. The waitress was excellent. However, the bartenders were disappointing. After finishing our drinks, they took the glasses and disappeared, leaving us waiting for 30 minutes for service and new drinks. All the employees were sitting at a table while there were two dozen customers. When I asked for the bill, I was charged for extra drinks that I didn't order. Even after pointing out the mistake, they insisted on charging me for the extra drink. I might return to try different food items, but I would definitely avoid the bar area.

My group chose to dine at Wendt's on a Friday night. The burgers were the best I've had in Fond du Lac. Both the coleslaw and potato salad were delicious! The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait long and the service was excellent, as were the drinks!
