La Igualdad De San Andres - Valverde

We found this restaurante/bar while driving through the area of San Andres , which is an area you will visit as it leads to lots of miradores viewing points). We had croquetas , salad and a couple of other small dishes all home made and quite delicious. We also watches some other dishes coming out and listened to the comments being made as you do). Try the filled chicken it looks like a huge breaded sausage and was enough for more than 2 people. Give it a try.

Each morning we had a fabulous breakfast at the Restaurante La Igualdad, close to the house where we are staying, it has very good quality breakfasts and tapas.

If you do not like the noise in the bar, ask to eat in the dining room. The food here is always good, prepared in the Herreño Style. Potaje a thick vegetable soup is excellent, Carne de Cabra goats meat well worth a try, and the Costillas pork ribs are out of this world. Living on the island, I have eaten here on many occasions and I have always been well pleased with the food and the hospitality of the staff.

Well prepared food, our dishes were suitable and we enjoyed the food, the dining room is separated from the bar, have local wines and is a good place without pretensions.
