Maralegre - Valparaiso

In the heart of the tourist region Valparaiso, it is a safe area to stay and all the things you want to see are within walking distance. The hotel itself is very charming as someone at home, but quite upscale service with a terrace restaurant view over the city and the sea: It is one of the most popular place to eat for their good food, good service and good views. There are not many rooms, tiny elevator leads you to different floors. A pool, jacuzzi: steam bath and sauna are on the lower level. And a very nice roof on the top, but you need to order from below. The rooms are small, but get it done work. The service in the restaurant is great.

This little jewel found. Great food and impeccable service. Through some confusion we arrived early, but could enjoy a drink before the opening. The food we come back for a second night.

Visits with a friend on recommendation while in Valparaiso. Small warning, there is no parking nearby. With this page, it is a picturesque little restaurant with magnificent views over Valparaiso. The staff was impeccable and English was fine. The food was enthusiastic about the kidnapping to the dessert. Extremely relaxing location and very enjoyed, only in the surroundings after the meal. Definitely recommend.

Our hotel in Viña del Mar recommended a visit. We showed up half an hour before they opened and this was not a problem. We neither had a reservation but they fixed a table for us at the terrace and we had a drink while looking at the menu and waiting for the kitchen to open. The waiter was excellent and made good recommendations on what to eat. Lovely view. As it was a sunny day we were offered to borrow sun hats which we accepted. Highly recommended!
