Kam's Fish Chips And Fried Chicken

The most awful chips I've ever had..... Can not make comment on any other part of their menu hope it's better!

Had cause to grab a quick bite while in Saltburn a short while back, and caught this little gem in my eyeline. Having been disappointed by many fish and chip shops over the years, I've avoided eating them, but this visit was oh so different. The service received was superb, pleasant, and quick. The food was of good quality, well cooked, and rather enjoyable. The batter was particularly memorable as it was crisp, and was obviously fresh. It certainly didn't break apart and fall in my lap! Definitely one of the better chip shops I've frequented in a long time. Hope the February closer is just a holiday and not a long term thing. It'd be a shame for the town to lose such a lovely chippy. ;
