Fifty Nine Republic - Valletta

I highly recommend dining at this restaurant for a delicious meal. The steaks were exceptional and we were pleased with the cocktails as well. However, I do feel that as a Michelin-rated establishment, the restroom facilities should be improved. One of the locks on the toilets was broken and there was no attendant to clean the facilities, which was disappointing.

Absolutely amazing lunch today 59 Republic. We ordered a tasting menu where you order several of the appetizers and they bring it in like a tower. The food and the flavors were incredible. And the service was exemplary. Now, I understand why it is always busy. Highly recommended.

Lovely spot in the square, the waiters are attentive and the food is top shelf, it's the little things like the coffee sorbet between courses and the offer of complimentary liqueur at the end of the meal that makes a dinner special. All in all a wonderful place to relax for a spot of fine dining while watching the world go bye.

My husband and I have been to the 59 Republic for my birthday and honeymoon dinner. It was our last night in Malta. We had Jeff, Hasindu, and Jose who took care of us all during the evening at the restaurant. Jeff is very friendly and professional. He gave us a warm welcome and food advice. Also Hasindu, he always makes sure that we have everything on the table. We enjoyed every single plate (especially the Lobster popcorn) and the view in the center of Valetta. Before we leave, we had a nice discussion with Jose. We are very happy with the food and service here, it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely evening at 59 Republic. Friendly and welcoming staff. Jeff and Hashindu were very attentive and professional, thanks for that! Great location, delicious food, elegant ambience. Definitely worth to check it out yourself!
