Bar Restaurante Los Chorros De Epina

We arrived in the late afternoon and just wanted coffee and desert . The restaurant was empty but for three people so we sat outside . Sitting you cannot see the valley because of a high wall . We paid €10 for a tea , a coffee and two pieces of cake . Although not pricey in overall terms ,this was double of what we paid in other places . The cakes were very dry and tasteless so we left them . Service was non existent .

I stopped in the Bar Restaurante for coffee during my island exploration and happily returned twice :

Charming service. Great views over La Palma and the Atlantic Ocean. Home made mojo, and good papas arrugadas. Rustic rabbit and 'carne con papas '. The 'carne ' (meat) was probably shim of beef. Tasty local stuff.
