Father’s Day in Galicia fell on a Tuesday this year, and lots of people decided to go to Portugal for the day and eat there with their families. I looked up this restaurant on TripAdvisor and it seemed like it could be a good option for my family and I given the kind of food that we like. We went to the restaurant around lunch time and it was packed, something that we were expecting and we were ok if we had to wait for a little bit. When we went in it was obvious that they were not expecting all that people to go for lunch that day and they were beyond overwhelmed. We patiently waited to speak with someone, and after about 10 min waiting a lady who was washing dishes turned to us and asked if we had made a reservation. When we said we hadn’t, she simply rolled her eyes, turned around and didn’t say anything else. We waited another 10 minutes to see if someone else could say whether or not we could wait for a table or if we should just simply go, but all the staff ignored every single person that came in to see if there was a list to put their names on and wait. So I looked up other restaurants on TripAdvisor and went to have lunch somewhere else. I understand they were overwhelmed, but rolling your eyes and being rude is not going to help anyone. Definitely won’t come back.
