Is this the best burger ever ? We went for a late lunch and it was the best beef burger we have had out for ages . We were also very pleased with the warm , friendly and attentive service . An outstanding English pub in a very beautiful English village. The main road through Blewbury belies the incredible village that exists alongside. A warren of small roads lined with well kept houses, riverside leafy walks and history in abundance, seems to lead back to the Red Lion pub. Well it did for us. The pub has been extremely tastefully refurbished and provides everything a great pub should. Good food, good ale, good company and space to do it all. The staff are frenetic in their attempt to provide the best service and manage that with great humour and communication. Easily one of the best pubs I have ever visited in a long life and will return for more.
