I visited this restaurant with a friend I haven't seen in years, as it has always been a favorite spot for us. It was busy, and the manager was focused on their ipad, so I asked the bar staff if there was a chance of getting a table and we were willing to wait. The manager eventually looked up and informed us that they were full, despite there being empty tables. There was no warmth or hospitality, and my friend even witnessed a couple leaving. If the manager had at least said they couldn't promise anything but suggested we grab a drink and wait, we would have stayed. However, it felt like they weren't interested in accommodating us. My friend was so appalled that we decided to leave and went to Bear and Ragged Staff, where we had a lovely meal. I won't be returning to this restaurant again. Remember, manners cost nothing.
