Costa Coffee - Vale of White Horse

Place is getting a little tired looking,particularly out side.. Entrance doorway area very grubby nerds repainting Very dilapedated looking ,not inviting..

I wanted to meet my son for a drink in my break late afternoon. We asked for what we wanted, the lady didnt ask me if I was staying or taking away, then we were given a pastry and a cake we had asked for in a bag, together, I explained we were eating in and she just said, oh, and proceeded to make our drinks then give them to us in take away cartons, I had lost the will to live by then and was due back at work shortly. The taste is so different when in a take away cup I couldn't drink it all. I felt the staff were too busy talking to each other than listening to the customer. Also, when it's cold something needs to be done about the main door that sticks open and is not wide enough just opening one impossible for a wheelchair or pushchair user to get through. Grove Costa is much better in customer relations

Haven't been in for a while. Very impressed, excellent service and a great coffee top marks.. Great improvement since lock down

Absolutely filthy staff wore the same pair of gloves served numerous customers didn't clean hands. Every table was dirty covered in dirty used cups plates we were told to take a seat at a dirty table. When someone did clean the tables the went back to serving in same gloves. Milk stored n the floor out of fridge and staff stepping over it came on Costa disgusting!!

This Costa is badly in need of a refurb. The paint is peeling off in lots of places and the loos were dirty. Hopefully it will be scheduled soon as most Costas are reasonably smart. We had the filter coffee which was a bit tasteless and not very warm but as it only costs £1 I guess you get what you pay for!
