This place is a gem! I went with 4 adults and one child and we were all thoroughly pleased with everything. They had delicious Jamaica juice which is hard to find where I am from. We all ordered something different, and tried a little of everyone's. I had the carne asada burrito and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was typical of a small taco shop, but with plenty of seating to accommodate small or large parties. The prices were very low. If I lived nearby, I would eat here all the time.Kid-friendliness: The kid portion was the perfect size, she got 3 mini quesadillas with beef and a choice of rice or fries. She tried the rice. She had never had Spanish style rice, and loved it.

Fantastic AUTHENTIC Mexican food, with hand made corn tortillas and all. The best actual Mexican food I’ve ever had!! Friendly staff and the place was clean.

I saw this place and immediately knew I needed to stop in for authentic Mexican food. Let me tell you that this was the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! OMG! The food is amazing ?. Cooked fresh to order and fresh ingredients in the homemade chunky guacamole. Again absolutely amazing! I had the tacos, chicken and steak. The prices are great, service was excellent and I got a chance to brush up on my Spanish ?. Everyone was friendly. It's a hole in the wall type of place but that's what attracted me to it. My hometown people from Hidalgo are so hospitable as usual. My friend and I arrived 15 minutes before closing on Memorial Day and they were already closing and about to leave but kindly opened up again and cooked our food FRESH and allowed us to stay and eat outside while they left so we could enjoy our meal on our road trip. The food was SO DELICIOUS! The tacos were AMAZING, especially the tortillas... almost a replica of my Great-Grandma Virginia's homemade tortillas. Sopes also were really delicious. ¡ARRIBA HIDALGO!
