Starbucks - Vail

Not my favorite place when it comes to coffee or tea. Spinach wrap is the only reason I stop by as morning rush bfast.

I placed a double Instacart order last night, March 7, 2023, around 10 PM. This Safeway closes at 11 PM. I gathered a few items and headed to the checkout, only to find the cashier was upset with me for shopping so late. Yes, you read that correctly—angry because I was shopping at 10 PM.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to an employee named Davina. I specifically requested my pumpkin loaf to be served unheated, but she repeatedly ignored my request. I asked her several times, and each time I was met with silence. Feeling unheard, I turned to her coworker for assistance, thinking Davina might not have been paying attention. At that point, Davina made a snarky remark to her coworker, saying, "She only said it five times." Honestly, it was frustrating because I was clearly trying to communicate with her, and she simply chose to overlook me. Throughout the encounter, Davina gave me unfriendly glares and death stares, which was incredibly uncomfortable. It’s hard to believe that someone with such a lack of people skills is working in a customer service role. If she has difficulty displaying patience, perhaps Starbucks isn't the right fit for her. I'm really appalled by her attitude and how I was treated.

This restaurant is fantastic for those with allergies! They offer oat milk and have a dedicated blender that is not used for milk, ensuring a safe option for anyone with a dairy allergy.

Nicest, most personable Starbucks staff I’ve ever met. Jada and Chloe were very patient with a complex order and held a lovely conversation when the POS was glitching, turning a situation which would’ve been otherwise unpleasant into a education time about the best sandwich on the menu (the impossible! . Coffee was on point and super yummy!
