Indian Bistro - Vaestra Goetalands laen

We didn't book and turned up on the hoof on a Saturday night, thankfully this lovely restaurant had room for us. We had a lovely greeting, English spoken for our benefit. There is an extensive menu and portion sizes are very good. All dishes come with rice and the poppadoms and Nan bred are delicious. We had one salmon tikka, which was an almost half side of salmon, which my husband loved. I had Malai Kofta, a favourite that I will always order when I see it. The food was hot, so very tasty and delivered with beaming smiles. This is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and lovely people, one of the best in Europe in my opinion.

Great location close to the waterfront and shopping center. We dropped in for an afternoon snack. Tried a few samosas and onion bajjis. It was OK. Service was. A bit slow even though there weren’t that many customers. It was hard to get the attention of the staff. The dessert rasmilla was better than the rest.

We went here spontaneously for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The food (starters, main courses, naan) was delicious and we were served by a very friendly waitress. Also there was a good salad buffet included with our main dishes!

Amazing food. Much food. Very vvery good and nice service and nice athmosogere and cheap price and tasty

Not good quality. Rude staff. Chicken was dry. Some good side dishes but over all not worth it. I will never go here again. The naan was ok. The rice was just barley ok. The papadams where ok but the sauce so so. The taste of the masala was strange I wonder how they made it . The hummus was really good though. But you can’t build a restaurant on just one or 2 good side dishes.
