Chipotle Mexican Grill - Vacaville

Chipotle offers convenient options for vegetarians like us. We sampled their burritos, soft tacos, and hard tacos. We enjoyed the food; it was flavorful and quite filling.

We visited on a Sunday and waited for 30 minutes, which is typical for a weekend. When we finally reached the front of the line, we learned that the register was malfunctioning, and they couldn't serve anyone in line. They only provided food to those at the very front whose orders had already been started. Despite our requests and offers to pay in cash, they wouldn't accommodate us. When we expressed our frustration after waiting for 30 minutes without getting any food, their response was, "We are usually this busy on the weekends." That's true, but at least people typically get their food after waiting. In my opinion, while the staff shouldn't be blamed for the broken register, they could have at least honored the food requests of those already in line.

I'm a big fan of Chipotle, but I was unfortunately disappointed with my visit to the Vacaville location today. They were out of several usual items, including fajita veggies, and the bowl I received was the smallest I've ever had. The employee initially put some rice in my bowl but then took a portion out, making it even smaller, so I had to ask for more! When I inquired about the missing veggies, I was told they weren't serving them anymore because of supply issues. For a $14 meal, I really hope this was just a one-time situation and not a sign of changes to come.

DO BETTER, VACAVILLE CHIPOTLE! Terribly inconsistent. If possible, to go the Fairfield location instead. Ordering online from this location is a WASTE. Time and time again I take the risk hoping to get proper portions and proper temperatures of my foodand this Chipotle fails. I paid $18 for a burrito that fit into my hand and was delivered cold. Literally no heat, just a cold,small burrito. If the food isn?t correct, then they forget drinks. Multiple times I?ve paid $4 for a Mexican Coke just for themto forget it. It seems the only way to get any kind of value is to go into the restaurant and order ? and that?s only becauseyou?re watching the staff make the food and they can?t get away with giving the saddest portions.

Literally the skimpiest portions of food. I ordered to pick up and what I got in my bowl was smaller amount than the kid bowl. Good thing i had a promo code for doordash because if I paid full price for this I would have been ever more disappointed than Ialready am. There were 3 pieces of lettuce in my bowl and half a scoop of chicken. I could fit all the food in one hand if Ipoured it out. Literally the most ridiculous thing ever. Don't order from here just go straight there or you'll get bird fooddrenched in hot sauce
