The Bar - Uxbridge

Great place for a healthy lunch, coffee, treats, etc.. Can also buy fresh vegetables and fruit. Small but quaint.

I was very excited to find a place with local, organic food. However in looking at the labels of food in the almost empty, understocked store, I saw that most of the dry goods are from China. What a joke. And some of the food was conventionally grown. Maybe if the worker got off her phone texting while there are customers (this was non-stop in my 30 minute exploration of surprise Chinese food), she could source some real local food and support local farmers. LAME and dishonest.

Just passing through and always looking for a healthy food stop. I was able to get freshly made made green juice, delicious organic coffee and a yummy porrage made of various different grains and nuts. I'll be back :-)

The Hobbyhorse has been a favorite of ours for some time now, so we thought we would introduce some friends to the place.

This restaurant was good My husband had the fish and chips which was delicious according to him.
