Tai Soen - Utrecht

There are 2 Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands that I can recommend to my friends. One is Grand Garden in Rotterdam and the second is Tai Soen Restaurant. They don't make their food too sweet as other restaurants, so that's great. I love all her dim-sum menu. Other dishes I like are Duck and Jelly firsh salad, spicy thick soup and duck pancakes. Now my new favorite shell here is steamed bowl with glass noodle!

Authentic Indonesian-Chinese food in Utrecht Very recommended

Last time we came here for dim sum was several years ago (before Covid) so we decided to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant did not change over the years. Still not a lot of space between tables and with the same Asian decorations, tables and seating. The quality, portion and taste of the dim sum was quite good. It's a good alternative if you want to meet up at the center of the country instead of traveling all the way to Amsterdam, The Hague or Rotterdam. We were a bit startled by the pricing though. Perhaps it's happening everywhere now that everything has become more expensive.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Er werd uitstekend rekening gehouden met de dieetwensen van een van ons, en de bediening was goed en gezellig.

Ik kom regelmatig bij Tai Soen. Ik eet meestal dim sum; er is veel keuze en veel authentieke gerechten. Nu ik erover nadenk, krijg ik alweer zin om te gaan.
