Madame Cocos Hoog Catherijne - Utrecht

I used to enjoy eating cookies with my grandmother before I became a vegan, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that this restaurant offers a vegan version of their lady cocos cookies. The taste is great and does not disappoint, not much else to say about it.

There are good options available at this restaurant. When I left, there were two options: lemon cured and traditional. In my humble opinion, the traditional option is the best. Next time, I will definitely try everything on the menu.

Madame cocos is in between the herbs and the hema, so you need to look a little better. The guy behind the desk told me that unfortunately they don't have vega options for sandwiches. Because they don't run so well.

Madame Cocos offers three vegan coconut balls, with at least one flavor always available. Each flavor is delicious, but my personal favorite is the lemon curd. The balls are soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The location is convenient, near the central station in Utrecht. Every time I visit, I can't resist buying more than one - I usually end up with four for 6 euros. They are a tasty treat for non-vegans as well, as my colleagues also enjoy them. Madame Cocos is a must-visit in Utrecht for a delicious snack.
