Old School Grill - Utica

2/1/2022 after a full day of skiing in the mighty gore mtn. I was really hungry and looking forward to a good meal. stopped at the old skool bar grille enroute home, ordered a cobb salad and a drink!. this cobb salad was perfect and huge (as billy fuccillo would have said!) every meal I had ever had here was delicious and serving are very generous! oh, and the garlic bread and my weight were not bad!

Been there several times and have never really been impressed. Went there once and they had an acoustic guitar player who’s speaker was so loud it was painful and he got mad when our server asked him to turn the volume down other times the riggies were literally boiling when they came out. This past time was the last time. Service is always good but 2 chicken meals and one burger were drastically undercooked to the point where the burger looked raw on the inside. They took it off the bill which we appreciated but this place has gone down hill. It’s not all bad and it definitely doesn’t warrant a one star review or anything but there are better options.

This was my first visit to Old School. I sat outside with a large group of people. The setting was fantastic; open and airy but close enough to be connected with those around you. The service was great. No one waited an excessive amount of time despite the size of our group. The food was spot on: the homemade chips perfection and the steak sandwich generous, cooked beautifully, and with amazing toppings.

One of my favorite local bars. My type of crowd friendly and fun to talk to same as the staff. I love their bar the whole thing is covered in pennies which adds something that make my beer taste just a little colder and better. The food is perfect for that setting and crowd. Burgers wings quesadillas etc. Good place to spend a Friday night with your coworkers after the work week is done. I love their steak sandwich it’s as good as any other place in Utica great with greens. The food is a bit on the pricey side But overall a good experience

Nice local bar with food! Cool place to settle down watch a game have a beer/drink and snack, or even a dinner! Local is the way to go! One less star for: I would like the help to be a little more attentive. (In a perfect world)
