The history of the place is displayed on the wall at the entrance, noting that it was once a gathering spot for activists before becoming a vegetarian restaurant. It's a fascinating transition. The people there are all very friendly as well.
I ordered what I would call a burrito, which surprisingly resembled chicken. It was incredibly tasty! The chips were coated in what I think was peanut sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta, which I believe had a squash sauce, was fantastic as well.
I ordered from their meal club, and I couldn't be happier! Everything was delicious—I tried the falafel, samosa burgers, take-and-bake biscuits, soup, and cashew cheese. There are enough meals to last me a while; you really get a lot with your order! Their mission is also fantastic, and I'm thrilled to support this restaurant!
Coursed out dinner for Valentine's Day! Each course delicious! Faves were the salad course with the house dressings. Cashew Alfredo. Pistachio Rose Cake. Service was amazing as well!
Heaven for vegetarians! You can't go wrong with the Mediterranean platter and the black bean burger. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly. They have live music during lunch time (at least every time that I have been here). It'spretty relaxing. Not good for big parties but if you have less than 5 people going on a group, it's a great choice.
