Subway - Urbana

Why is the African American lady with dreads that always works in bad mood during lunch? I gave her the advantage of the doubt, but it is a day with her. I like to come here as my work is close, but probably on the Mexican place down on the road. not only that, but her hygiene is bad. all the others who work here are in order. a scandal that one of the employees brings the quality of the service at this place cuz otherwise 5 stars.

While in for lunch today a worker was weighing out items on a scale. She would take the container, place it on the scale then type into her phone. Although she did have gloves on she never once changed them. After she stuck her hand into the cucumbers and lettuce I mentioned how many items she had touched things including food with the same gloves on. She very rudely told me how all the items were clean . I have been food certified and I know that touching multiple surfaces/items with the same pair of gloves is not ok. The food was good (someone else was making it) But it will be awhile before I go back.

Ordered curbside delivery through app. Received confirmation but they never brought order out. Had to go in and get it employees denied offering curbside and were rude

Many of the staff members are rude and do not care about their work.

We went in when they were offering their brisket sandwich. My wife can't eat the bread so asked them to make her sandwich on a wrap. We'd had this done at other Subway locations. They told her they wouldn't do the brisket on a wrap. I realize it's a little extra work because they have to put the stuff in one of their silicone oven things and then transfer it to the wrap, and in the grand scheme this isn't totally a big deal, but it was for us. Plus the attitude of the girl who relayed this information was off putting. It gave us a bad taste, all puns intended, in our mouths. We won't be back to that location, even though it's the most convenient for us.
