Awful food. There was a puddle of oil sitting on my food! I took 2 bites and my stomach started to turn! I spoke to the only person who is ever here and she yelled at me and told me to order something different next time! There won't be a next time!! Go somewhere else and get you a good meal because you will never get one here!!!!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

I would NEVER RECOMMEND eating here! The food is way over priced! We got 6 pices of sesame chicken, a small scoop of rice and a extra side of rice, 2 cans of soda for $17.50. The place is very dirty, the rice was old and hard, the 6 pices of chicken were good but I had never had sesame sauce as runny or salty! If you eat in DONT LOOK AT THE PRICES or all the nasty food/dirt on the menu! They are out dated and that is somehow the customers responsible to know that. Consider yourself warned

Mayflowers Restaurant is a family tradition for us. My Mom used to work in Urbana and regularly ate here. Now we drive from Springfield to get this delicious Chinese Food. I love being able to dine in and chat with Carol the owner. She is so friendly and makes excellent recommendations. I had the beef and broccoli. The flavor was excellent.

This is one of my top recommendations on my list of highly suggested places for YOU to visit! I've been meaning to visit this place for some time. It's even in walking distance of my house. I am so sad that I waited as long as I did. Mayflowers is a very sweet and quaint place. Even the music is relaxing and gives the place a special atmosphere. It's also very clean and inviting. The food is very impressive. The eggrolls are phenomenal. So fresh and delicious!! Our meals were also so wonderful, and we all raved about it while we ate. The owner served us. She is so nice and sweet! It is easy to tell she has pride in her restaurant and in her recipes, and rightfully so. This was only my first visit, but I will DEFINITELY go back.
