Five Miles From Anywhere No Hurry Inn

This place is absolutely fantastic! We stayed overnight on the canal barge moored at the pub's wharf and had both lunch and dinner there. Our meals were delicious and very affordable. Everything we saw being served looked just as appetizing, and we even spotted the biggest fish and chips I've ever seen—definitely enough to feed both of us!

We arrived right when the restaurant opened, anticipating it might get crowded due to the lovely weather and the fact that it was a Sunday. We opted for one of the picnic tables by the river, which quickly filled up with other guests. Dining there was a delightful experience. The staff was fantastic, and the setting was beautiful, allowing us to enjoy our time for a few hours. Although we didn't bring our dogs this time, we noticed that other customers and employees were very welcoming to their pets. We will definitely be back soon!

I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant. I particularly loved their soup of the day. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The place felt safe and clean, with a good emphasis on social distancing. The ambiance was lovely, making for a rewarding visit overall.

Fantastic choice of home style cooked specials changing every day aswell as a varied regular menu. Never disappointed with quality and quantity of food served by welcoming happy staff even during current restrictions. Decor and furniture very good also. Highly Recommended.
