Annam - Uppsala

We inquired about which items in the buffet were vegan, but later discovered (after serving ourselves) that one of them had 'egg' in the description. We then learned that the only item labeled as vegan in the buffet also contained eggs. It was very disappointing to see that the employees and cooks are mixing up vegan and vegetarian items, making it hard to trust their information. Even after bringing it to their attention, we had to insist that they clearly mark vegan items that contain eggs.

We needed to find a restaurant in the center of Uppsala for a mix of colleagues. As soon as we sat down, the server asked if anyone was vegan. They provided me with a separate vegan menu, although I later found out the buffet had vegan options as well. The food was delicious and served promptly, but the bill was a bit pricey (250 SEK per person for a party of 4, including drinks).

The dining experience was not outstanding, but it was decent. The waiter was friendly. We also ordered their Vietnamese coffee, which took about 10 minutes to prepare, so be prepared to wait if you're in a hurry. We really enjoyed their spring rolls as a starter.

Not amazing but correct food and the waiter was nice. We also tried their vietnamese coffee takes about 10 minutes to get ready so if you re in a rush... lovee their starter spring rolls
