Blackthorne Restaurant and Pub

Nice mix of an Irish pub and a fancy restaurant. Pub menu and/or restaurant menu. Good draft beer. Attentive service. Nice patio dining. Well worth the mid-price.

Eating was excellent and the meal was very pleasant in a historical environment with a great view.

We were there on this Friday night (day after thanksgiving) and everyone else has to have a turkey hookover. only one other table was there, besides our most unusual. there were four of us and I was the only one who had been there before. all razed around there for meal, especially the skalopps court! service was good and the ambiente is always great. try to die the tiramisu, even if they are full!

Wow! the most interesting thanksgiving buffet ever! the 6 stars were: lamb, salmon, veg. lasagna, beef ham, then turkey. each star had its separate and special co-star sites. Old-fashioned-not candy! pumpkin cake with fresh made real! impact cream.

Extremely disappointed by the moment we went in the door. no hostess, to welcome them so that we could explain to what seemed to be the area. was able to get the attention of a waiter, with his hands full of shed eating, we had a reservation. he turned us to another waiter who said there was one table and was not willing to accompany us, we got the impression, we should know where the table was. Finally, the against extremely cold, dead flying and stinking bugs sat on the windowboard right next to our table. there was a high-time reception that apparently is the only toilet room for is in the main building, which meant that the loud guests came and out the dining room area outside door, which often came open for the cold, and we had to get up constantly to close the door. eating was actually good, but slightly warm when it arrived. parking is very dark, they keep it in the night. overall eating is good, service and event need some attention. for the price I would suggest an alternative location. we look forward to the new owners to see what kind of changes are made.
