Sushi Nikkou - Upper Mt Gravatt

This restaurant serves large sushi with a slight western twist. The space is small, but every time I have visited, I have been lucky enough to find a table without a long wait. The sushi is incredibly fresh and the wasabi is of top quality, not like the prepackaged kind often found elsewhere. The staff is polite and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone with even a slight interest in sushi. They also offer delivery for those who do not live nearby. I could easily spend $20 on sushi alone, so I recommend bringing cash as they do not accept cards. Overall, I urge you to check this place out.

This is still the best sushi place I have found in Brisbane. The sushi is freshly made right in front of you, with rich aromas that make it hard to ever go back to buying sushi from a shopping center. It can get a bit crowded during lunchtime, so there may be days where you have to wait 5-10 minutes between 12:00 and 1:00, especially if you come in a group of more than 2. They have single seats on one side and 3 tables on the other side, with enough space for up to 5 people.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
