Limelight Cafe - Upper Hutt

This is an okay place but is let down by the sometimes indifferent attitude of the staff and the atmosphere.. It could be great with a few design changes but currently just resembles a hastily thrown together small town diner/cafe. The kitchen closes ridiculously early, so if you want a meal you have to be there early. The food, when you can get it, is usually good their savoury tarts are delicious, and the coffee is great when it's made properly. Shame they don't do something about the place, with so few good cafes in Upper Hutt it would be a winner.

I think this place has new owners! Everything has completely changed since the last time i was in there new decor, new menu and everything looks a lot cleaner and much more welcoming! The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was delicious and very good value for money i had the continental breakfast which i highly recommend if you fancy something a bit different! They also have an extensive tea selection which i chose and my partner opted for a coffee which was only $3.50! Will definitely be returning!

Lovely staff here, I asked for a bacon sandwich and coffee. Although not on the menu, it was no problem making the sandwich. The bacon was cooked to perfection, just as I like it. Definitely be going back when I'm passing again.

Great cafe!! Delicious well priced menu and cabinet food.. good coffee and tea selection.. great caring staff who were very understanding and caring... recommend the hash stack! Hashbrown, bacon, avo, tomatoes and eggs

Is a cafe attached to expressions gallery. Quality cafe food and very interesting and at times outstanding local, national, and international exhibitions and evening entertainment. Very worthwhile visit.
