Curry To Go

THE BESSSSSSSSST INDIAN FOOD IN WELLINGTON! I have never ever tried any Indian food that is as good as the food that is served at Curry To Go. I’m a regular and my absolute fav is the Chicken kali mirch (chicken black pepper).. it’s mouth watering! Total mouthgasms!

This is probably the best curry place in Wellington in my opinion. The shop looks like it could do with a bit of a make over and it is only takeaway but all that does not matter once you encounter the staffs friendliness and taste the food. The butter chicken is thick and creamy, the Vindaloo has hints of vinegar coming though, the Madras has rich coconut flavour staring throughout the dish and the chicken Tikka is melt in your mouth. All the curries can be made mild or melt your face off hot. All you have to do is ask. The Naan and rotis are cooked to perfection and not burnt on the outside and raw in the middle like some other restaurants. I have never had a disappointing meal from Curry to Go and with regular specials throughout the week it's definitely worth a drive to Newlands to give this Indian takeaway a go.

The food is lovely and service as good. Have been visiting on and off now for over 5 years, much better quality than those els-where...???Highly recommend this curry-house-menu, real meals and not watered down sauce...just delicious...???
