Like others have said....the experience was aweful, frustrating and humiliating!! I 'm 73 on SS only income...went in with the $3.49 coupon to get the Italian BMT.....to treat myself after medical appt., arrived just before noon hour...not busy. I toldthe girl that I couldn 't have the spicey salami...so asked how many meats come on this she said 3...so I said ok...reg salami,ham, so asked about turkey for the 3rd...she said sure...she NEVER said it would be $1.50 extra...I paid via bank card thennoticed the extra charge..she called the Mgr out and he began interrogating me in front of everyone...kept asking me 'just sayyes or no....just say yes or no '....so I said 'just say yes or no...should she have informed me that it would cost this? ' Justsay yes or no....he just continued to berate me...I said here 's your sandwich back!!......soooooo rude....I will never return toany Subway....Corporate will do nothing about it either! Wish I could give '0 ' stars!!!!
Went to subway at 180 E ?C? Street Upland CA, 91786 at 12pm on Sat 11-6-21. We ordered our food and was overcharged 2.08 for the kid's meal that we purchased. When I told the lady working, she immediately recognized her error and apologized. She thensaid that they could not give money back. She then said to give her a second while she calls her manager. She went in back tocall the manager and came back saying that I could have a cookie to make up for the difference. I told her that I would preferto not pay 2.08 for a .89 cookie. I would rather just have the 2.08. She went back to call the manager. When she returned, sheopened the register and gave me $2.00. I said that is not the right amount. She began to get upset and raised her voice saying,?it?s the same thing!? I said, ?but it?s not the right amount?? Angered, she walked away and then called her manager a thirdtime. She opened the register and proceeded to give me $3.00. I said that I don?t want to profit on this and that I just wantedit to be right. Then she got really angry and began to yell in front of my 7-year-old son. Not willing to continue to expose myson to her unprofessional and inappropriate actions?I gave her the extra dollar back and walked out. I didn?t want her money,just mine. I cannot think of another time where I was treated with such disdain for someone else?s mistake. My poor son wasfrazzled by the interaction. As I walked out, I heard the worker apologize to the line on my behalf. It was hard to remain calm,but I did because it wasn?t worth it. I don?t get how a worker can lose their cool over a simple mistake and resort to theactions she displayed. This is definitely not a place for children or anyone that can do math.
