Mod Pizza - University Place

The restaurant staff handled their busy and stressful situation with grace, treating all customers with kindness and ensuring that the food came out quickly and delicious. It is truly a rare experience to be treated so well in such a busy environment. 10/10.

Went in to grab an order and saw half the workers texting and snap chatting on their phones then touching the food without washing their hands no gloves. Not to mention an order still waiting to be picked up by the customer was half open on the rack. Disgusting.

The pizza at this restaurant was decent, but lacking in flavor in the sauce. I did appreciate the option to build my own pizza at no extra cost. However, the dough was a bit too thin for my liking, even when choosing the thicker option. It would be better if they made the crust a bit thicker, like a traditional pizza. The pricing was reasonable for the size of the pizza. The only issue I had was that some kids and teenagers came into the restaurant and filled up containers with free drinks that were not from the restaurant. One kid even used a cup from McDonald's to fill up. No one seemed to say anything to them, which I found unfair. If I have to pay for my drinks, they should too.

This place is similar to Subway, but for pizza! The food is delicious and they offer a gluten-free crust option, so my wife can also enjoy eating here. It has become a regular spot for us. The cleanliness of the facility could be improved, but overall, it's not too bad.

One of my favorite food spots, by far. Excellent service and business model, clean, and friendly!
