Ginza Teriyaki - University Place

I live close by and had never visited this restaurant until tonight. I decided to stop in for a to-go order, and I’m so glad I did! The portions were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. They cooked my tofu and vegetables to perfection. The sauce was just right—not too heavy—and the vegetables were perfectly cooked, not overly saturated. This has definitely become my new favorite spot. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming!

Excellent service with creative dishes and generous portions for the price. I'm really glad I decided to stop by. I was even offered hot tea while I waited for my delivery.

Jan and Andrew provide exceptional customer service, making you feel like a member of the Ginza family. The food is fantastic, and the portion sizes are generous, perfect for sharing. If you find yourself in Tacoma or are a fan of Teriyaki, this restaurant is a must-try.

This cute little mom and pop owned restaurant is DARLING! The owners are absolutely lovely! The food is so DELICIOUS, FLAVORFUL AND SATISFYING! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, mongolian beef, chicken fried rice and spring rolls. Everything was sooo yummy!!! And the PORTIONS ARE HUGE! they will feed us for days! So glad we tried this place!

I used to go here 17 years ago and just randomly remembered about it recently. It's just as good as I remember and this place is definitely my new go-to place for teriyaki! The staff is so incredibly nice and the food is high quality and so good. 100% recommend!
