Turtle's Grill - United States

Was awesome in the 90s but literally nothing has changed since. I remember when I was a kid all the racer car driver pictures (that are still the exact same ones up) they mostly all active drivers now not a single one is still racing. That shows just howdated the place is. Remodel and refresh your menu please or you fall away.

Probably has the best beer variety in any normal Bar I have been in around the twin cities. They do a good job at getting local and highly sought after breweries in there. Super dive bar but they got your beers.

Turtle's has a wonderfully extensive menu and the food is consistently good. You might call it a sports bar as there's always a football, baseball or other game on one of the dozen screens. You might find the noise level to be a bit much but not so badthat you can't talk across the table. And the staff? ... very friendly and attentive.

Sat in a booth in the bar to the left of the entrance. It was much brighter than the rest of the restaurant, and not terribly busy that day. The service was excellent and friendly. They have a nice menu, and the walleye sandwich was excellent. Our sonhad pizza, and we tasted it, loved it, and we ordered a pizza and chicken to go for later.

Turtles is a great local place. We go on Monday for burger night. If you arrive before 6 it is also happy hour. We have been going to Turtles for 25 years at least. Not many restaurants have been around that long. Say alot about the place. Try it youwill not be disappointed. Pizza and roasted chicken is the best.
