First impression, not great. An ambivalent, disinterested host. Things improved with the server, one of the most enthusiastic, committed servers of all time. Smoked Brisket was a little fat, excellent beans and a very unusual claw. Instead of the characteristic thin claw, this was very band-like. Very pleasant. Beautiful decent selection of beers, including an excellent local selection. The Elchwurst Penne Pasta was not playful, but it was definitely different.

The food was fresh and delicious! I will definitely be returning, and they also provide military discounts.

Smoked brisket was a little bit fatty, excellent beans and a very unusual slaw. Instead of the characteristic thin slaw, this was very ribbon-like. Very likeable. Pretty decent selection of beers, including an excellent local selection. The elk sausage penne pasta was not gamey but it was definitely different.
