Contribuiți la feedbackHaving been twice, this is arguably one of the best, if not the best, traditional sushi omakase offered in nyc. The decor of the restaurant is simple, but we?ll done. The sushi is next level in terms of quality of fish, rice, and taste. If available, the sake cooked sea bass is incredible melts in your mouth and is perfectly prepared. Highly recommend visiting this staple if you are looking for a traditional Japanese omakase experience.
Sadly confirmed for second time it?s not as good as under previous head chef in 2010. We ordered three appetizers, which were the best part, the omakase 15, and a few à la carte items, for lunch this past September.
As someone living in Japanese, the experience was authentic and enjoyable. Although it is somewhat pricey, the food is very good and the fish is high quality. I would definitely come again.
The restaurant is beautiful and you’re greeted with the utmost respect once you walk in. My party sat at the counter and I was able to observe the chefs prepare each dish. I loved the omakase selection. The fish was fresh and delicious.Food: 5/5
